Hey y'all... this is just an update... i was totally neglecting my journal and I had an entry that was dated December 25, 2005 on my page... hmm.

Well anyway... so... I'm between jobs right now... and everything has slowed down. I'm writing a lot more than I used to... I have time to really concentrate on the artwork I'm doing and best of all... I get ample sleep and i'm happy.

The best thing, though... is that I've finally made a few good friends... and I hang out with them a lot... they're a good bunch... friends from school. You don't need to have a lot in common sometimes... maybe just a pack of ciggies... tea and a lifetime of experiences to talk about and I guess you're pretty much set for a good evening with friends.

This one time, I was talking to them about the good times I had when I was in Australia... and I realized something... we always wanna relive our past... no matter how boring or upsetting or even antagonizing it was. I remember all the times I was drinking with friends in Australia, I'd always talk about the good times I had in Mumbai with my friends there... and in mumbai... I'd talk about the good ol school days in Bahrain... and now, I'm talking about Australia...

And as that realization struck me... i figured... i really don't have such a bad life after all, ya know.. it's all good.

Here's something I found recently... my second journal on dA... written on April 8, 2004... it goes...

Yesterday - I miss you. I want you back. I know that I can't have you and that what I've done is done forever. I live in your memories. Today - today isn't good enough. Till today becomes yesterday.


So... live it up
