It was just last night that I realised that I've been on DeviantArt for over six years.
My first post at deviantArt dates back to March 31, 2004. I looked through the gallery and I found this transformation - starting with my first posts, just as a writer - then slowly, it moved towards visual experiments. And boy have I come a long way! Needless to say there's a longer way to go from where I am, but the point is - A transformation exists - and it's only because of DeviantArt.
DeviantArt.com has transformed me and my sensibilities. It opened new doors for me where there were only walls.
So like I said - I'm still around. And I'll always be here.

Guess who's back?
I know it's been a while since I've posted - I just got caught up at work... plus, I've been off photoshop for a while, now... dA is very different from when I joined... and there are some really good artists on here, giving me one hell of a complex everytime I decide to do something new... hehe... but i miss photoshopping and photographing and I think I should devote some time every week to get back into the whole groove and make sure I don't miss out on that atom-sized talent that i have...
The number of favourites, comments and devwatches are overwhelming... thank you all so much! I wish I could reply to you all... but all I can say is...
Reliving yesterday
Well anyway... so... I'm between jobs right now... and everything has slowed down. I'm writing a lot more than I used to... I have time to really concentrate on the artwork I'm doing and best of all... I get ample sleep and i'm happy.
The best thing, though... is that I've finally made a few good friends... and I hang out with them a lot... they're a good bunch... friends from school. You don't need to have a lot in common sometimes... maybe just a pack of ciggies... tea and a lifetime of experiences to talk about and I guess you're pretty much set for a good evening with friends.
This one time, I was talking to them about the good times I
The Oibyrds Daily Devs
A special note of thanks to Sandi from The Oibyrds Daily Deviation Awards for featuring my artwork for Split on the Daily Deviation Awards list for 25.12.2005.
A little about the Oibyrds Daily Devs... Sandi takes several hours going through unknown artists' galleries on a daily basis to select work that is really good but has gone unnoticed... and she features these deviations on the Oibyrds Daily Devs journal. I think she's doing a great job and that we should totally support her for her effort.

The other side of the river
Another new year.
